Dear colleagues,

We are pleased to invite you to the third International Interdisciplinary Scientific Conference EVERYDAY LIFE OF CHILDREN, which will be held on 22nd and 23rd November 2024 in Novi Sad. It will be organized by the Preschool Teacher Training College Novi Sad, Faculty of Educational Sciences Pula, Faculty of Educational Sciences Štip and the Association of Preschool Teachers of Vojvodina.

The working subtitle of this year's conference is well-being, as a broad framework for discussion whether and how it can be achieved in children’s everyday life today and in the future. Well-being can be accomplished through cooperation and participation, through different approaches, methods and programmes. We can analyse different degrees to which it is achieved, subjective and objective well-being, factors which are important in order to reach it. Within professional work or a scientific discipline, well-being can be viewed in various ways, and we hope that in synergy and constructive interdisciplinary discussions, the conference will contribute to a better understanding and improvement of children's well-being. The conference has an interdisciplinary character with an emphasis on connecting theory and practice.

Framework subtopics which can serve as a guide for participants to register with oral and poster presentations, round tables, and workshops:
- contemporary perception of childhood,
- approaches to education,
- the importance of early development,
- diversity and individual needs,
- ICT in children's everyday life,
- literature, communication and the media,
- children’s education from the perspective of parents and institutions,
- the practice of parenting,
- art and creativity in children’s everyday life,
- science.

The conference will be accredited by the Pedagogical Institute of Vojvodina as a form of professional training for employees in educational institutions in the Republic of Serbia.

The papers presented at the conference will be published in the Book of Abstracts and Book of Proceedings.
